xTool SafetyPro™ AP2 / AP2 Max Air Purifier with SuperCyclone
When you're laser engraving or cutting, you're not just creating—you're releasing fumes, VOCs, PM2.5 particles, and formaldehyde into your workspace. Whether you're running a desktop laser or an industrial machine, clean air isn't optional—it's essential for your health and the longevity of your equipment. The xTool SafetyPro™ AP2 and AP2 Max air purifiers are purpose-built to handle the demands of laser work, welding, soldering, and woodworking with professional-grade filtration that actually lasts.
Key Features
SuperCyclone™ Pre-Filtration
Both models feature xTool's washable and reusable SuperCyclone filter technology—36 cyclones in the AP2, 72 in the AP2 Max. This pre-filtration stage captures larger particles before they reach your main filters, dramatically extending filter life and reducing ongoing costs.
Multi-Layer Filtration System
The AP2 uses a 6-layer filtration system, while the AP2 Max steps up to 7 layers including a dedicated formaldehyde filter. Each layer is engineered to target specific contaminants from your laser and workshop processes.
Ultra-Dense Carbon Mesh Technology
Activated carbon filters handle VOCs and odours, but xTool's ultra-dense carbon mesh takes it further—capturing finer particles and chemical compounds that standard carbon can miss.
HEPA Filtration
True HEPA filtration captures 99.97% of particles down to 0.3μm, including the PM2.5 particles generated during laser cutting and engraving.
Formaldehyde Removal (AP2 Max)
The AP2 Max includes a dedicated formaldehyde filter—critical for workshops processing MDF, plywood, and composite materials that release formaldehyde during cutting.
Intelligent Auto On/Off
When paired with compatible xTool machines, the purifier automatically powers on when you start a job and switches off when you're done—no manual intervention required.
Filter Life Monitoring
Built-in monitoring tracks filter condition and alerts you when it's time for replacement, so you're never running with compromised filtration.
Which Model Is Right for You?
AP2 – Desktop Purification
Designed for desktop and compact laser systems including the xTool S1, P2, M1, and F1 Ultra. With 150 m³/h airflow and 6-layer filtration, the AP2 handles typical engraving and cutting tasks with ease. It's quieter (~55 dB), more compact (290 × 491 × 542 mm), and draws just 220 W—perfect for home workshops and small studios.
AP2 Max – Industrial-Grade Purification
Built for high-output and industrial machines like the xTool P3, MetalFab, and heavy-duty production environments. The AP2 Max delivers 700 m³/h airflow with 7-layer filtration including formaldehyde removal. It's larger (662 × 452 × 845 mm), more powerful (900 W), and designed to handle continuous operation in demanding workshops.
