xTool X1 Next-Gen All-in-One Laser Cutter & Engraver
The xTool X1 is an expandable laser cutter and engraver built around a 55W CO₂ laser, with optional 20W diode galvo, 30W fibre, 60W MOPA and 5W UV laser technologies. It supports a maximum 615 × 320mm surface engraving area, automated triple-camera positioning and configurable bundles for makers, workshops and growing businesses.
Pre-order notice: Pixel Burn expects to begin dispatching xTool X1 orders from mid-November 2026. This is an estimated timeframe, not a guaranteed dispatch or delivery date. Timing may vary with the selected configuration and incoming stock.
One Laser Platform, Built to Expand
Start with the built-in 55W CO₂ laser for suitable cutting and engraving projects. For faster galvo processing and future laser expansion, select the CO₂ + 20W Diode Galvo configuration. With the diode module in place, the X1 can be configured with one of the listed additional laser sources: 30W Fibre, 60W MOPA or 5W UV.
Important configuration distinction: The Single CO₂ option includes the CO₂ laser only. The 20W Diode Galvo Module is required before adding a Fibre, MOPA or UV source. You can add the diode module later, but optional sources are not included unless specified in your chosen configuration.
What Can Each xTool X1 Laser Do?
- 55W CO₂: Designed for cutting and engraving suitable wood, acrylic, leather, paper and other compatible non-metal materials.
- 20W Diode Galvo: High-speed detailed engraving on suitable wood, leather, dark acrylic and cardstock; also enables subsequent optional laser-source expansion.
- 30W Fibre Galvo: Metal marking, detailed metal engraving and deep 3D engraving on compatible metals.
- 60W MOPA Galvo: More advanced metal work, including suitable colour marking, fine detail, embossing and engraving effects.
- 5W UV Galvo: Fine-detail, low-heat marking on suitable materials, with supported glass inner-engraving applications.
Supported materials across compatible configurations include wood, acrylic, metal, glass, leather, plastic, rubber, silicone and ceramic. Material support depends on the installed laser source. The manufacturer lists cutting applications for suitable wood, acrylic, fabric, leather and paper. Test material compatibility and settings before production.
Hybrid Motion: High-Speed Galvo Work at a Larger Scale
The xTool X1 pairs a large-format machine with galvo laser processing. The maximum surface engraving area is 615 × 320mm (approximately 24.2 × 12.6 inches). Listed maximum speed is 600mm/s for CO₂ and 6,000mm/s for Diode, UV, Fibre and MOPA, depending on the fitted source and job.
Different processes use different working areas: glass inner engraving is listed at 600 × 300mm within the top 50mm depth at a refractive index of 1.54, and 60 × 300mm from 50–100mm depth. Metal embossing has a listed 415 × 225mm area when using the Dust Hood for Embossing. The full 615 × 320mm figure should not be assumed for every operation.
Triple-Camera Vision and Automated Setup
The xTool X1 uses an 8MP overview camera, 12MP close-up camera and ranging camera, supported by a LiDAR ranging system. These help with material detection, positioning, height measurement and autofocus.
Its Automated Creation System (ACS) combines camera-assisted alignment, an AutoLift base and AI-assisted parameter setup for a more streamlined workflow. Listed positioning accuracy is less than 0.3mm at the close-up camera's centre and less than 0.5mm across its full area; for the overview camera it is less than 0.5mm centrally and less than 2mm across the full area.
Long Projects, Rotary Work and Batch Production
The standard surface engraving area supports larger layouts, while the X1 Intelligent Conveyor Feeder enables projects up to 118 inches (approximately 3m) long in supported AutoPassthrough workflows. The machine supports rotary engraving of workpieces up to 110mm diameter with a compatible accessory.
Maximum processing height is 150mm for CO₂ and 140mm for Diode, UV, Fibre and MOPA. Additional equipment may be needed for rotary work, continuous feeding or specific production methods.
Choose the Right Package: Standalone, Versatile or All-in-One
All package levels contain the laser configuration selected from the product variants. Their accessory inclusions differ:
- Standalone: The selected xTool X1 machine and specified laser modules.
- Versatile Bundle: The selected X1 configuration, plus MagSwap RA3 Rotary, X1 Intelligent Conveyor Feeder and X1 Mobile Work Stand.
- All-in-One Bundle: The selected X1 configuration with the Versatile accessories, plus a SafetyPro AP2 air purifier.
Items such as the honeycomb panel, workplate and Fire Safety Set 2 are compatible accessory options but should not be assumed to come with every package. Review your selected variant carefully before ordering.
Machine Safety and Compatible Accessories
The xTool X1 is marketed with a Class 1 laser safety classification in its stated enclosed operating configuration. The manufacturer's safety information also references one flame-detection camera, seven NTC temperature sensors and four machine-status sensors. The advertised rapid fire-response function requires the separate xTool Fire Safety Set 2; it is not a standard built-in fire-suppression feature.
Compatible accessories listed by xTool include the X1 Intelligent Conveyor Feeder, Mobile Work Stand, Workplate, Honeycomb Panel, Fire Safety Set/Fire Safety Set 2, RA3/RA2/RA2 Pro rotary attachments, SafetyPro AP2/AP2 Max and SafetyPro IF2 Inline Fan. Always confirm the relevant fit and safety requirements for your intended configuration.
xTool Studio Software and Connectivity
The xTool X1 uses xTool Studio and supports Android, iOS, iPad, Windows and macOS. Connectivity options are USB and Wi-Fi. Supported file formats include SVG, DXF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP and TIF, with AImake compatibility listed as supported.

How Do I Choose the Right Material for My Laser?
How Do I Choose the Right Material for My Laser?
Start by checking the compatibility information and specifications in the product description. Pixel Burn stocks materials and supplies for CO₂, diode, fibre and UV laser systems, but not every material is suitable for every laser type or wavelength.
Pay close attention to the listed material, thickness, surface finish and recommended laser type. If you are unsure, send us your laser model and what you want to create, and our team can help you identify the most suitable option. Always complete a small test before beginning your final project, as settings can vary between machines.
Are Your Materials and Blanks Ready to Use?
