Acri-Bond 105 Clear Acrylic Solvent Cement
Acri-Bond 105 is a clear, water-thin, fast-setting solvent cement for accurately fitted acrylic (Perspex) components. Available in 120 mL and 500 mL tins, it is designed to create neat acrylic-to-acrylic joints for sign fabrication, display construction, model making and other precision plastic assembly projects where edges meet closely.
Clean Acrylic Joins Without Bulky Glue Lines
If you work with acrylic sheet, a well-fitted join makes all the difference. Acri-Bond 105 flows into tight joints and softens compatible plastic surfaces to form a solvent-welded connection as the solvent evaporates. Its clear finish helps keep transparent assemblies looking tidy.
- Water-thin application: Suitable for controlled delivery into close-fitting joints.
- Fast initial setting: Helps you position and assemble components efficiently.
- Clear finish: Designed for discreet joins in transparent acrylic.
- Made for precise fabrication: Useful for accurately cut acrylic components.
- Two pack sizes: Choose 120 mL for smaller jobs or 500 mL for ongoing workshop use.
What Can You Make With Acri-Bond 105?
Acri-Bond 105 is suited to a variety of workshop applications where compatible components fit together closely, including:
- Laser-cut acrylic signs, letters and assemblies
- Point-of-sale displays and acrylic stands
- Display boxes and presentation cases
- Model making and precision plastic fabrication
- General acrylic sheet construction
Which Plastics Can You Bond?
Acri-Bond 105 is primarily intended for compatible acrylic-to-acrylic bonding. The supplier also identifies polycarbonate, HIPS, ABS and PETG as potential applications, but results depend on material formulation and joint design. Test on offcuts before using it on a finished job. Do not assume the product is suitable for load-bearing, food-contact or watertight assemblies without application-specific verification.
How Do You Use Acri-Bond 105?
- Check the label and Safety Data Sheet first. Follow the manufacturer's current ventilation, handling and protective-equipment instructions.
- Prepare the join. Make sure mating edges are accurately cut, clean and free from contamination.
- Align the components. Check that the edges fit closely; this thin cement is not designed to fill large gaps.
- Apply with a compatible applicator. Use a suitable solvent-resistant precision applicator, following the manufacturer's directions.
- Allow the bond to develop. Protect the assembly from movement or loading while the bond strengthens. The supplier advises allowing approximately 24–48 hours for full bond development.
Is Acri-Bond 105 a Gap-Filling Acrylic Glue?
No. Acri-Bond 105 has low gap-filling capability and performs best where the pieces fit closely. If the edges have significant gaps, a different bonding system may be required. Test a small sample to check joint appearance and material compatibility before starting a larger project.
Choose Your Pack Size
- 120 mL: Handy for occasional jobs and small acrylic assemblies.
- 500 mL: A larger supply for frequent fabrication work.

Laser Supplies, Materials & Blanks FAQs
How Do I Choose the Right Material for My Laser?
How Do I Choose the Right Material for My Laser?
Start by checking the compatibility information and specifications in the product description. Pixel Burn stocks materials and supplies for CO₂, diode, fibre and UV laser systems, but not every material is suitable for every laser type or wavelength.
Pay close attention to the listed material, thickness, surface finish and recommended laser type. If you are unsure, send us your laser model and what you want to create, and our team can help you identify the most suitable option. Always complete a small test before beginning your final project, as settings can vary between machines.
Are Your Materials and Blanks Ready to Use?

What Product Specifications Should I Check Before Ordering?
What Product Specifications Should I Check Before Ordering?
Before ordering, check the product’s dimensions, thickness, material, finish, pack quantity and stated laser compatibility. You should also confirm that sheets and blanks will fit your laser bed or pass-through system.
Natural materials such as wood can show variations in colour, grain and appearance between sheets. If you require a specific measurement, tolerance or compatibility detail that is not listed, contact our team before ordering and we will help confirm it for you.
