Product Details
304 Stainless Steel Sheets – 100 × 100 × 2mm (2 Pack)
These 304 stainless steel sheets are supplied as a two-piece pack of square metal plates, each measuring 100 × 100mm with a 2mm thickness. Featuring a silver-coloured mill finish, the sheets provide compact metal stock for laser-marking trials, workshop fabrication, signage projects, brackets and general metalworking.
What can you use these stainless steel sheets for?
Use the 100 × 100mm 304 stainless steel plates for workshop prototypes, small metal signs, brackets, model-making projects and other fabrication applications. The supplier also describes the plates as suitable for machining, drilling, stamping and welding, subject to your equipment and process.
Can these sheets be laser engraved?
Stainless steel can be marked with suitable metal-marking laser systems, but results depend on the laser source, settings, surface condition and alloy. Compatibility with any particular machine or guaranteed engraving result has not been verified. Fibre and suitable infrared laser operators should conduct a test mark before production. A conventional CO₂ or diode laser may need a suitable metal-marking compound, depending on the equipment; do not assume bare-metal marking or cutting compatibility.
What is included?
- 2 × stainless steel square sheets
- Sheet size: 100 × 100mm
- Thickness: 2mm per sheet
- Surface: silver-coloured smooth mill finish
- Supplier-stated pack weight: approximately 305g
Important material information
The sheets have a smooth mill finish; exact thickness tolerances and protective-film inclusion are not specified. A mill finish may show visible handling or manufacturing marks; review the surface and test your intended engraving, welding or fabrication process before committing to finished work.
Supplied as unengraved raw material; no engraving service, artwork or personalisation is included.

Laser Supplies, Materials & Blanks FAQs
How Do I Choose the Right Material for My Laser?
How Do I Choose the Right Material for My Laser?
Start by checking the compatibility information and specifications in the product description. Pixel Burn stocks materials and supplies for CO₂, diode, fibre and UV laser systems, but not every material is suitable for every laser type or wavelength.
Pay close attention to the listed material, thickness, surface finish and recommended laser type. If you are unsure, send us your laser model and what you want to create, and our team can help you identify the most suitable option. Always complete a small test before beginning your final project, as settings can vary between machines.
Are Your Materials and Blanks Ready to Use?
Are Your Materials and Blanks Ready to Use?
Yes. Our laser materials and blanks are supplied ready for you to cut, engrave, mark or customise unless the individual product states otherwise.
Blanks are supplied unpersonalised, giving you complete control over your design and production process. Selected sheet materials may arrive with a protective film to help protect the surface during storage and delivery. Always follow the instructions provided with the individual product for the best results.
What Product Specifications Should I Check Before Ordering?
What Product Specifications Should I Check Before Ordering?
Before ordering, check the product’s dimensions, thickness, material, finish, pack quantity and stated laser compatibility. You should also confirm that sheets and blanks will fit your laser bed or pass-through system.
Natural materials such as wood can show variations in colour, grain and appearance between sheets. If you require a specific measurement, tolerance or compatibility detail that is not listed, contact our team before ordering and we will help confirm it for you.
