What is 3M™ 467MP Adhesive Transfer Tape?

3M™ 467MP is an adhesive transfer tape manufactured using 3M's 200MP acrylic adhesive system. It is designed for graphic attachment, nameplates and general industrial joining applications where a strong, low-profile bond is required.

Compared with thicker adhesive transfer tapes, 3M™ 467MP uses a thinner 0.05 mm adhesive construction, making it particularly useful for precision laminations and projects where you want to minimise the thickness added between bonded surfaces.

How do you apply 3M™ 467MP?

1. Make sure both bonding surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, oils and contamination.
2. Position the 3M™ 467MP against the material you want to prepare for bonding.
3. Apply firm, even pressure across the surface to promote good adhesive contact.
4. Remove the release liner when you are ready to attach the prepared material.
5. Position the second surface and apply firm pressure across the bonded area.

Bond performance can vary depending on the material, surface condition, application pressure and environment. Testing is recommended before using the adhesive in a new production application.

How should 3M™ 467MP sheets be stored?

Keep 3M™ 467MP sheets clean, dry and protected from excessive heat, moisture and contamination. Store the sheets flat wherever practical so the liner and adhesive remain easy to handle when required.
